ADULT READING PROGRAM WARMS CUYUNA RANGE
Fifty-four adult readers have signed up for “Hot Reads for Cold Nights”- the thirteenth annual adult reading program sponsored by the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library and the JFHML Friends Foundation. This program is intended to liven up the winter months and make reading more fun, encourage people who are not frequent library users to come and explore what is available, and encourage regular readers to broaden their reading horizons.
It is not too late to visit the Hallett Library and sign up for a reading packet. Each participant receives a reading log, bookmark, hot chocolate and a detailed explanation of the program. Each adult reader that reads and records 20 book titles will receive a HOT READS 2017 library mug (while supplies last.) There are also weekly drawings for participants and raffle prizes at the completion of Hot Reads. Winners drawn thus far include: Mariah Wittlief, Claire Milkovich and Dan Leighton.
