“Jingle Books” Fundraiser has $12,000 MATCH!

The JFHML Friends Foundation is proud to be a part of GIVE-TO-THE-MAX DAY.  On Thursday, November 16, www.givemn.org makes it possible for non-profits around the state to set up specific fundraisers to aid their causes. On this date The JFHML Friends (the 501 c-3 fundraising arm of the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library) will launch their 7th annual JINGLE BOOKS campaign.

It’s been said that you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their books, and you can tell a lot about a community by looking at its library.  The following are some of the descriptive words used to describe your library by community members: creative, integral, enriching, rewarding, inviting, sanctuary, treasure, fun and filled with eye-candy. When seeking out an environment to connect, learn, and access programs, materials and technology-you need look no further than your community jewel, the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library.

In the spirit of the Holiday season, please consider sponsoring the cost to purchase one book (value of donation $10-$30… or more) Perhaps you would like to give a Jingle Books donation gift in honor of a friend or family member? With your tax deductible donation, the Friends will see to it that library shelves (both wooden and virtual!) are filled, you will have helped to sustain the book budget of your community Library and your book purchase (book, eBook, audiobook or periodical) will continue to be enjoyed by many long after the holiday bustle fades away. This year raised funds will also be used for programming costs. Once again, the Friends are proud to partner with the Hallett Charitable Trusts who have generously offered to MATCH DONATIONS DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR UP TO $10,000.00.
