About the Book:
Back in the 1970s and 80s, Alaska was a rough and rowdy place that attracted hundreds of young women willing to work in a remote wilderness to pursue lucrative jobs and develop non-traditional careers. Wildcat Women includes narratives of fourteen women who worked in various professions from the early days of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline to recent times.
