She is treated unfavorably by her relatives\, except for her cousin Edmund (Jonny Lee Miller)\, whom she grows fond of. However\, Fanny’s life is thrown into disarray with the arrival of worldly Mary Crawford (Embeth Davidtz) and her brother Henry (Alessandro Nivola).
