DESCRIPTION:The Jane Austen Book Club is taking the places of the J.R.R. Tolkien Book Club. \nWe will be reading through all of Jane Austen’s works. \nFor June we will be watching Sense and Sensibility. \nSummary: Marianne Dashwood wears her heart on her sleeve\, and when she falls in love with the dashing but unsuitable John Willoughby she ignores her sister Elinor’s warning that her impulsive behavior leaves her open to gossip and innuendo. Meanwhile Elinor\, always sensitive to social convention\, is struggling to conceal her own romantic disappointment\, even from those closest to her. Through their parallel experience of love—and its threatened loss—the sisters learn that sense must mix with sensibility if they are to find personal happiness in a society where status and money govern the rules of love.

While exploring an old mansion\, the youngsters find a curious\, jungle-themed game called Jumanji in the attic. When they start playing\, they free Alan Parrish (Robin Williams)\, who’s been stuck in the game’s inner world for decades. If they win Jumanji\, the kids can free Alan for good — but that means braving giant bugs\, ill-mannered monkeys and even stampeding rhinos!
